Season One

ARCC Season One ran June 28 through July 5, 2026, hosted by BoilerBots at Purdue University.

3v3

Teams contest a central capture point, marked by the green crown on the field. A robot standing on it scores one victory point per second for its team. Eliminating an enemy robot scores 20. The match ends when a team reaches 200 victory points or the clock runs out. The higher total wins.

1v1

One robot per team. Last robot standing wins. Each robot has a limited number of shots, so missing is expensive. Robots start in opposite starting zones and use the central obstacles to break line of sight. If the match ties, robot weight is the tiebreaker.

Engineering Challenge

Engineers pick up ore cubes from Resource Island and deposit them in three exchange stations. Each station is set to a random orientation inside a published range, so the same mechanism has to tolerate a different pose every run. Harder stations are worth more points. The team with the most points in the least time wins.
